Catrine

Catrine is a 3D single-player puzzle adventure game.

You play as a cat with magical sand bending powers trapped in an enchanted egyptian-themed litter box for behaving nasty. To progress through the level, you have to make use of your sand attraction and blowing powers obtained by consuming catnip, activate buttons, and make your way to the portal.

Will you be able to escape your enchanted prison?

This game was realized at ETHZ during the game lab 2022 by the hyrule #4 group: Gilles, Amro, Attila, Quentin, Zheyu & Yitian.

Minimum requirements

CPU: Intel Haswell or newer, AMD Ryzen

This game may not run smoothly on laptops.

Install Instructions

First, install the dotnet core runtime.

Inside the game folder, run Catrine.exe.

Troubleshooting

If the game crashes on launch, make sure that:

1. the dotnet core runtime is installed

2. your CPU meets the minimum requirements
